Payment Information

1. Pricing

Work is quoted either as a fixed price for a clearly defined scope, or at an agreed hourly rate for support, consulting and open-ended development. The rate, the estimate and the deliverables are confirmed in writing before work begins. Third-party costs such as licences, domains or hosting are listed separately and passed on without a mark-up unless agreed otherwise.

2. Invoicing schedule

• Small engagements are invoiced on completion.
• Larger projects are usually split into an initial payment before work starts and staged payments tied to agreed milestones.
• Support plans and hourly work are invoiced monthly in arrears.

3. Accepted payment methods

Payments are processed securely through Stripe, which supports major debit and credit cards and common European payment methods. Bank transfer against an issued invoice is also available on request. Card details are entered directly with Stripe over an encrypted connection — they are never seen, handled or stored by Macer.lv.

4. Security

Stripe is a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment provider and applies Strong Customer Authentication (3-D Secure) where required under EU rules. All pages of this website are served over HTTPS.

5. Taxes

Prices are stated exclusive of applicable taxes. Where VAT or the EU reverse-charge mechanism applies, this is shown on the invoice together with the relevant registration details.

6. Late payment

Invoices are payable within 10 calendar days unless otherwise agreed. Overdue invoices may attract statutory interest and may lead to suspension of development and support work until the balance is settled.

7. Refunds

Cancellation and refund conditions are set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Stripe.
